Your grandma was right - taking a little vinegar every day is good for the gut. But you don’t have to shoot it like a frat kid on a friday night. Here are 3 ways you can enjoy apple cider vinegar (ACV) that will make you feel like you’re sipping cocktails with the girls form Sex in the City.
To a 12 oz glass of ice add 2 Tb. ACV, half a lemon juiced, fill to top with sparkling water and garnish with a slice of lemon
To a 12 oz glass of ice fill half the glass with tonic water and add 2 Tb. ACV, fill to top with apple juice and garnish with a sliver of apple
In a coffee mug add 1 Tb. honey, 2 Tb. ACV, a 1 inch piece of ginger, a slice of lemon squeezed and fill to the top with hot water
When you buy ACV, buy the Gragg’s brand that says on the label “with the mother”. You will reap the maximum amount of benefit but before to shake it up before you pour it.

START WITH WATER.
Don’t try to overhaul your entire health at once. Frankly, you’re setting yourself up for failure when you do. Commit to making one small change in your day to day habits and then build on that.
We recommend starting with water. Water is the building block of everything that happens in your body. Hydration affects your outsides [think less dry skin, less chapped lips and fewer lines and wrinkles] and your insides [healthier digestive tract, better blood flow, less muscle tension].
Consciously drink 8 glasses of water a day or get a big 1 liter bottle and refill it 4x a day - check the link in our bio for our favorite reusable bottle! Once you’ve mastered the art of hydration then add on your next habit - like a daily steps goal (hello cute new pedometer watch) or a weekly workout class. But hear us out… start with water!!! Your body will thank you.
I hate mornings. Maybe you can relate. So try this new morning routine - as soon as you get out of bed;
Sweep your hands out and to the sky as you take a deep breath
With your hands in the sky wiggle your fingers and toes
Sweep your hands back out and down to your toes
Hold for 10 seconds and sing your favorite Taylor Swift song in your head while you take another deep breat
Repeat 3x then go brush your teeth
A light stretch with some oxygen flow will help wake up your muscles and mind and propel you forward especially on those days where you just can’t adult.

CHALLENGE YOUR FRIENDS.
Psychologists tell us that when you have to be accountable to someone for completing tasks or goals you are 72% more likely to follow through. So enlist a friend or two in holding you accountable for your health goals. Starting a group challenge is a great way to get started. Check out the link in my bio for a fun app that you and your friends can use to get a daily step’s challenge going!
The odds are they need the accountability too and like Jason Mraz says - “It’s always better when we’re together.”
